MCC PEER TUTORS

The Tutorial Assistance Program (TAP) was designed to assist any student who is attending MCC and is having difficulty in one or more of his/her classes. It is a free service to the students, and each peer tutor is reimbursed through the Peer Tutor Fund. The funding source is comprised from three different budgets: Skills Center, MCC Foundation, and Student Activities. It was designed this way to stress the importance of involvement from faculty, administration, and students. The Achievement Fund assists the program in emergency instances should TAP have an exceptionally large demand.
