I received my B.Sc. in Agriculture from Tanta University (Egypt) in 1981. In 1987 I went to graduate school at Eastern Michigan University and achieved my Master degree in Chemistry in 1989. In 1994 I graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Ph.D. in Chemistry/Biochemistry. I have joined Scott Community College in the Fall of 1993. I am teaching Organic and General Chemistry courses.
